The Easy Fix For Metallic Taste is TEA!

You heard right, the magic metal taste remover is good old tea.

Simply leave a tea bag in warm water over night in your bottle and the tea will naturally counter the unwanted steely twang.

We find this method an effective and natural solution, if however the taste persists then please try a 'deep clean' as seen below.

How Do I Deep Clean My Bottle

If you are sensitive to metallic taste then a deep clean is the best method for you. Simply follow the method below using Bicarbonate of Soda (baking Soda for those in the United States).

Step 1:

First wash your bottle with soap as above. If a metallic taste persists then try a deep clean with Bicarbonate Of Soda.

Step 2:

Add 2-3 teaspoons of Bicarbonate of soda to your bottle. Fill half way with water and shake well to dilute mixture. Fill bottle fully and loosely screw on the lid.

Step 3:

Leave the diluted soda water in your bottle overnight (can leave for longer for a deeper clean). Thoroughly wash out your bottle with hot soapy water to remove any bicarbonate.

My Chameleon Has White Marks

We have noticed that occasionally white marks may appear on the Chameleon bottle. These are pressure marks caused from light rubbing against hard surfaces. Worry not as these are not scratches and there is a method to 're-set' your coating to remove these marks.

Simply fill your bottle with boiling water to set the bottle fully white. *please be careful, bottle will get hot*

Empty the bottle and fill with icy cold water and watch as the white marks close up like magic.
